Hello from Morgenland! Since it seems it will be a while until we can all gather together, we
wanted to reach out to our members and the community to remind them of some updates. We
hope this update finds you well and safe!
First, the pastor and the board are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers as we move through
this challenging time. If you need spiritual or financial assistance or want to discuss any matter
with the Pastor, feel free to reach out to her.
Sunday Worship and all activities are canceled until further notice. When this pandemic is over,
our first service will be our Easter celebration and the Class of 2020 will be confirmed. We also
felt this service should celebrate that we got through these difficult times, as well as a
remembrance service for any members who may pass during this time.
Thank you for sponsoring Easter flowers to decorate the sanctuary, but the flower order has been
canceled and checks will be given back to those that placed an order.
As we move into these uncharted waters, we ask for your patience while we find ways to reach
out to our members virtually. We will be posting more messages from the Pastor, with Palm
Sunday and Easter around the corner. Currently, the church does have an avenue to donate
online, but we ask if you are able to, to please continue to send your offering to Morgenland by
mail. We are monitoring the mail weekly.
Please continue to reach out by phone, video chats or emails to family and friends to let them
